Qualifications

Apprentices will achieve a practical (or 'competence') qualification:

  • Diploma in Food Production and Cooking
  • NVQ Diploma in Food Production and Cooking
  • NVQ Diploma in Food Production and Cooking (RQF)
  • NVQ Diploma in Kitchen Services
  • NVQ Diploma in Kitchen Services (RQF)
  • NVQ Diploma in Professional Cookery

Apprentices will also achieve a theory-based (or 'knowledge') qualification:

  • Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Food Production and Cooking)
  • Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Food Production and Cooking) (RQF)
  • Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Kitchen Services)
  • Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Kitchen Services) (RQF)
  • Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Professional Cookery)
