What apprentices will learn
  • understanding project controls
  • how to review and interpret technical information
  • managing data
  • developing cost estimates and preparing budgets
  • planning and scheduling techniques
Qualifications
  • apprentices must have achieved level 2 English and maths (equivalent to GCSE grades 9 to 4 or A* to C) before taking their end-point assessment
  • apprentices must also have achieved a level 3 diploma in project control practice before taking their end-point assessment
Professional registration

Apprentices who complete this apprenticeship will be eligible to apply for registration as an Engineering Technician. They will also be eligible for membership of the Association of Cost Engineers.
