Sunderland City Council offer a variety of training opportunities including community learning, apprenticeships and short courses.

We aspire to be a city of learning where people want to learn, where there are consistently high quality, locally responsive learning opportunities. We strive to offer excellent quality training and closely monitor learner and employer satisfaction.

We have several different departments involved in offering learning and development opportunities. Including Community Learning, Connexions and the Tyne and Wear Care Alliance who work to improve standards of care training across the North East Region.
