About this provider
The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT) provides a highly successful school-based teacher training programme offering secondary (age 11-16) and primary (age 5-11) training. TKAT was judged Good in all aspects by Ofsted in June 2014.
TKAT also offers high quality training through their partnership of primary and secondary schools in South East England.
The Apprentice will follow a personalised training programme with individual support. They will be based four days a week (Tuesday to Friday) in their placement school and will attend their General Professional Studies sessions one day a week (Mondays) at their dedicated training hub.
Successful completion of the Teacher Apprenticeship will lead to the award of QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). There will also be an option for the Apprentice to complete a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).
